For organisations certified to ISO 9001:2015, our message is simple: don’t panic.
Whilst the revised standard marks an important milestone for quality management, the transition process will take time. Although the exact arrangements are yet to be confirmed by UKAS, certification body accreditation activities are not expected to commence immediately, and certified organisations are likely to be given until September 2029 to transition.
As more information becomes available, Atlas Certification will work closely with our clients, auditors and consultants to ensure the transition is understood and managed effectively.
