Many organisations are starting to consider how they will approach the upcoming changes to ISO 9001 and ISO 14001. Current discussions across industry and social media suggest publication dates during the first half of 2026.

As a UKAS-accredited certification body, we are closely monitoring developments. However, until the standards are officially published, the International Accreditation Forum (IAF) releases its mandatory transition requirements, and UKAS issues guidance to certification bodies, all of which have not yet occurred, there is no need for concern and certainly no need to panic.

Our message to clients is clear: there is still plenty of time before key decisions and plans for change need to be made. When the time comes, we will provide clear guidance on planning requirements and the transition process to the new versions.
