A new update to the SSIP Rules & Bylaws (Version 8.20) was released in January 2026. All SSIP assessors and organisations relying on SSIP recognition should be aware that the update includes changes to the SSIP Core Criteria and associated sampling and evidence requirements. SSIP has confirmed a three‑month implementation period, meaning the updated requirements must be applied no later than 20th April 2026.

Clients who rely on SSIP as part of their health & safety pre‑qualification processes are encouraged to download and review the latest version to stay aligned with the current expectations across all SSIP member schemes.
